Looking for a place to "settle"

I don't plan on playing much, and when I do, i don't intend to do much. Think of me as a helper when I am on. Not looking for a major role, but more of a kind of "nomad" if you please. I just kind of want to jump into the "village" life to get a feel of how the game is playing nowadays as it's been a while since I have last been on.
