Hello!
I've been casually playing H&H since W5, never progressing much past being a hermit. I'm looking to join an active community of veteran/experienced players and donate my time/work in exchange for knowledge.
Why I play:
What hooked me was the exploration aspect of the game. I normally spend 3-4 hours a day boating around and exploring different areas. I fell in love with the ideas of "something from nothing" and permanent death.
About me:
I'm 29 with an amazing job, wife, and two kids. I work in the retail industry, so I get to travel frequently to events like CES/E3/PAX. Aside from having the dream job, my only major hobby outside of work is gaming. I just started W7 and have been averaging 4-6 hours a day, which will be increasing through the holidays.
What you can expect from me:
First and foremost, security. I'm willing to take a small role inside a village and earn the trust of it's citizens. I'm a dedicated player and willing to re-roll if required to join a town. As I mentioned above, I'm active 4-6 hours right now mostly in the evenings EST. I have the ability to login whenever, if needed for emergencies/crafting. I have no personal ambition in the game aside from developing a thriving village. I have no aspirations of PvP outside self preservation, which means I will not go rogue and leave scents.
What I expect from you:
Knowledge and patience. I'm an extremely fast learner, but outside of basic wilderness survival my knowledge of the game is limited. I'll need instruction on things such as farming, crafting, stat balancing, and basic combat. I'm also interested in joining a group who can take me from newbie to late-game. I don't expect to be fed curios, but I do ask that you be located in an area where I am free to roam to forage my own.
If you'd like more detail on me or my experience, please don't hesitate to PM me.
Thanks!
