Newish players looking for village

I and my son are looking for a village to join.
Ages: 46 and 15
Experience: we each played for about two months two years ago over a period that spanned the transition from W5 to W6; we were hermits and were not in a village.
We just restarted two days ago for me and yesterday for him.
Time zone: Pacific (GMT -7)
Have a Skype account, but don't plan on using it regularly.
Stats still low (14 or less)
I am interested in farming and crafting, but will try any role. I haven't asked him what role he wants.
Looking for a village to help with work and to be safer from outsiders.
Available to play 1-3 hours each per day; more on Saturdays.
Languages: English (both); Danish (me); a little Spanish (both)

I'm taking a wild guess in saying you as hermits would prefer a peaceful village?
Eemerald is a really kind lawspeaker from what I know and might be recruiting.
