What I am looking for is a small to medium village, or one that is being developed by active players that know what they're doing. I am a very new player to H & H and the thought of robbers, thieves, and murderers terrifies me. I'd like to be in or at least near enough to a village for safety- Well, as much safety as possible. (I've, or should I say, my ancestor, had an encounter with a boar. It wasn't fun, to say the least.) Also being near friendly players that wouldn't mind offering a beginner some tips/advice would be appreciated.
Here's a little information about myself:
- I am 22 years old
- I live on the east coast of the united states, so EST (UTC -05:00)
- I can only speak English, unfortunately.
- I do have skype, ventrillo, as well as teamspeak for communication if necessary
- I'm very friendly and open-minded
- Available to play/chat/etc usually between the hours of Noon to 2 AM (EST)
As for information regarding this game in particular:
- I only have about five hours of playtime under my belt (I discovered the game two days ago)
- Most of my LP have not been distributed, I'm researching all the skills before I dedicated my points.
- I have little to no attributes to speak of.
- I have all the basic skills needed to survive. Foraging, hunting, lumber-jacking, hearth magic, fishing.
- I know little to nothing of this complex game, but I am learning more as I play/read guides/wikis, etc.
- I'm a fast learner so I would like someone to teach me the ins and outs of the more complex things
- I don't care to dedicate LP/skills etc to do a specific task for the village. Even mind-numbing boring ones. As long as I get to learn other facets of the game, or at least get to watch.
- My average playtime per day currently is only between one to two hours per day, but I'm available around 12 hours a day, I just don't want to play a lot in dangerous territory while under-equipped.
TL;DR version: New player looking for somewhere safe to live and also learn the game.
Well there you go, hopefully that answered any questions you might have, but if not feel free to PM me on the forums or post here on the thread for any questions/comments you might like. Thanks for reading!
