Newbie looking to enjoy the game with others[Update2]

Well, I can't promise being very active, but I do understand the game pretty well from playing a similar game + reading the wiki, so you could say I'm not a complete newbie.

I've been bored with gaming lately, and this thread is my try to fix that, by playing this game which sounds fun for once. I'm honestly tired of all those MMOs where the engine, gameplay, and sometimes even plot are cloned from another game just because it was popular. So Haven seems like a refreshing change.

I've finished getting Ender's Client earlier, but have yet to start playing. The reason is simple, I want to enjoy this game to its fullest, and as it's a multiplayer game, that would be impossible by "soloing". However, it would be also impossible by starting in an established village.

Because of that, I want to join people that are:

-Experienced players starting fresh
-Newbies that are not too far in game(as far as having a palisade at most)
-Newbies who have just joined
-Players that have nothing advanced in general
-Friendly, laid-back people. I don't want people who only care about advancing a settlement and get stressed if it's slow/are unfriendly for any reason.
However, I do NOT want:

-People who are rude and/or try to annoy others.
-People who steal. This includes stealing from ANYWHERE. Even Abandoned settlements. Reason will be written below.
-People who kill. This includes ANY other player. Even if that player stole something, or you believe he did.


The reason as to why I don't want people stealing, even from abandoned settlements is, I don't want to advance in the game by "being lucky" and finding advanced things we couldn't possibly produce for a while. While I don't like the idea of stealing at all, I do agree that IF one wants to advance quickly with no effort, taking what's abandoned is the quickest way to do that. HOWEVER, I don't want to advance with no effort. I want to enjoy the game to its fullest, and when you earn something, it's way more enjoyable than when you get the same thing with no effort.

UPDATE: Since it was taking a while to get any replies whatsoever, I made a character by myself. Not too advanced so I can still join other people, but I suppose I could have anyone interested spawn near that character if needed.

UPDATE2: Since it seems few to little people have any interest in playing with me(or the forums are just not active today), I'll accept offers of neighbourhood as well. Like, someone inviting me to live next to them and/or offering to live next to me.

If you are still seeking a place, I might have a spot for you in a small village I run, aimed at new players learning the game while being protected.

We offer the following:

- Friends! More people to play with is always a bonus and we are constantly seeking new players to join our ranks to suit any role.
- A brickwall, that's right! I brickwall to hide your precious valuables insides, currently this brickwall is a communal plot, however we plan on expanding out and giving people the option of their own plot.
- Basic curios provided! Seers Tea Leaves, Strawdolls, toadstools and other low-mid tier curios will be provided for you to study! This will mean more time to play the game and less time to focus on character development
- Somewhat safe area, only small amount of people pass by usually allowing a more peaceful experience.

Some cons:
- Currently small amount of players, around 5 or so, all quite new to the game.
- Communal plot atm, the lack of private space may get on peoples nerves
- Lots of work to be done (meaning there are always things that need to be done if you want a task)
