♡ Recruiting a miner ♡

Postby nyaiee » Sat Sep 20, 2014 6:46 pm

Hiya,
I'm looking to recruit a miner who'd build an underground plot next to my unfinished cheesery on level 5 and mine for me.
The above is a rather simplified version of my proposition, but that's basically it. You being kewl and not losing interest immediately are the things I care about most, which is why I'd prefer you talk with me on Skype/Forum PMs/In-game PMs for a little bit before I'd agree to anything. Please feel free to message me ! I don't mind if you don't fit most of the guidelines below, and even if it's the case you're a hermit with no experience. ;w;

What I'd give in return is rather flexible, but I'll most likely treat this as a trade deal/investment.
I'm happy to discuss whatever is it you would like in exchange/from a similar deal.
Skype: Nyaiee

Requirements:
    1. Not going to lose interest quickly
    2. Check with me before attacking any villages
    3. Speak passable English
    4. Willingness to ramcheck on every day you come online, but not necessarily every day
    5. Moderately active
    6. Willingness to make bricks for your own plot
    7. Have skype (you only need to type)
    8. Be okay with me doing Bow/Heart/Hello Kitty pixel art everywherererere
    9. Not expect pure communism, but still be willing to share to an extent
Preferences:
    1. Willingness to produce metals for me in exchange for curios/foods/help with any other project
    2. Be an experienced Haven player
    3. Not leave scents leading to cheesery (I don't care if you're a criminal, but you making a vault if that's the case would be positive)
    4. Already have stats to mine level 5
    5. Be awake when I'm generally awake (UTC+10:00 from roughly 10AM-4AM)
    6. Be willing to make steel for me
    7. Not being part of a group larger than 3
    8. This one is a stretch, but I'd be willing to give you my kidneys in exchange for making me bricks ;~; Nobody likes making bricks, so if it's the case you'd rather not, that's expected. I wouldn't make bricks for anybody else, either.
    9. Same as number 8, except with cupboards and cheese racks.

Maaaybe. I'd be willing to make a lot of bricks, its just tedious, as long as I have lots of space to put them. ((but I can roam and cut down trees for that.)) I'd be doing the one stick trick though, so it takes at least fifteen mins for each batch.
I'm not exactly a miner, but I've been looking for a village to join. I can mine a little, at least to iron, I need a lot more strength, and haven't been gunning for it recently. I do have two characters, one I'm trying to get to full industry. ((for the metal of course, and gathering clay)) So while not a miner, as long as there are cows I can start to make cheese. I know all that stuff, so that's a positive. I can roam and make those stuffs too. As long as there is plenty of room to put them. As I would be spending quite a while making them. Heh heh heh.

How do I do a ramcheck? What is that? *es confused*

So I'm not a miner, but I guess while I make cheese racks, and cheese trays, I can make bricks. They'd be about... q... nineteen I think. I have a 70ish bone saw, and with q 10 wood I get upwards of 20 q boards. Higher q wood is a bonus and I have gotten upwards of 50q boards with a random high q tree I found. ((used it to make a herblist table for silk worms))

Also I have quite a bit of stuff built up, just a crap ton of food, so I may be taking some time transporting that for the whole of the village to eat. Heh. If you don't have pigs I have them, and can get more. Though it may take awhile to get them to you. I'll spend that time on my own don't worry about that. I can make a raft, that will take awhile though... I can roam about and make a lot of rope. Got lots a trees and the like in my area, so no problem.

I'm rambling... I know. So I may not be a miner, but I'll make some bricks for you, and the racks and trays.
I've sent a pm, and I guess will skype you in two days without a reply?

9 applicants ;~;
I'll get around to speaking to you all personally and choosing the best fit ;w;
sorry if it takes a tad to decide, didn't think I'd have to interview so many people

Edit: I believe I've picked the person I wish to partner with.
If it doesn't work out with my new recruit, or their production isn't as high as hoped, I will likely bump this thread and keep the initial applicants in mind.
For now, however, applications are close.
Thank you all for applying, I sincerely appreciate it. ;w;
