Looking for a Village

I'm starting a new character because my other character is trapped on a claim (I haven't played on it for 9 months just tried for the first time yesterday).
I've been playing the game on and off for a few years on different accounts. I am active so I'd be on somewhere between 3-6 hours a day on weekdays less on weekends.

What time of day, time zone? How old are you? What profession are you interested in? Would you mind doing menial tasks while being fed curios to get your skills up to speed with the rest of the village?
