Looking for People

Postby Kitamie » Fri Oct 17, 2014 10:57 am

Hi, we are looking for people who would like to join us. We are able to offer you brickwalled personal plots and some great companionship. We like to chat to each other on skype alot as it breaks the boredom when your farming or doing the boring but necessary things in game. We like to take foraging trips together at times and hunting trips too. We are noob friendly and would be there to help advise if you needed it. What we wont do is tell you what type of char to make for yourself as we believe this to be your personal choice. We have all jobs covered so you would be free to explore your options. My skype is xrystalbubble for anyone interested in joining us and would like to talk more about it. We are offering personal plots at this point in time only.

Here is an honest review for Kitamies village for anyone planning to join her.
You are expected to do work for the village, like feeding cattle and so on. They are a very serious bunch, so some personalities may not mesh with their group. They are quite active, their time zone is Australia I believe. They are an older group and do not like immaturity.
They are quick to violence to people living in their river system. I don't particularly mind, but some may.
I quit their village when a new server came up for stronghold kingdoms. From what I can tell even if you leave their village or are asked to leave, they will not kill you if you comply.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

I would like to respond to what overtyped has commented on. There were some agressive people living in our group who were not friendly to people on the river but these people have since moved on. Feeding the animals requires a certain level of farming so we are pretty good at staying on top of that ourselves. We do try to work hard to supply the needs for our villagers especially the new guys as they are not expected to feed themselves while they are still new to game. Age wise, there are only 3 of us who are classed as old, the rest are under 25 our youngest is 14 so we are not ageist. We don't ask too many people to actually leave as most of the people dont like being told they should NOT attack noobs and get the tanties on when they are told, well sometimes shit just happens. I can't quit remember which char was yours overtype but thank you for your honest opinion on my village.

Overtyped was bob dole, the cheese maker living under laconia kit, if I'm remembering right, he had his cheese factory there xD.
Would recommend if you are looking to play the game right, Kit does raise her noobs well, and has friends in every corner of the globe, in case you're looking for anything that can't be farmed/botted easily enough, it is built up enough to handle most anything you will need though, but for the highest quality gear, everybody knows somebody ;)
Do expect a lot of things happening, there were plenty of times to relax and just play the game, but, work is necessary for the upkeep of the village, you shouldn't think you'll come in and be able to lounge about
Skype is definitely a must, group calls were an everyday occurence, and, while you'll be fine missing a day or two to real life, if you're in game, you'll want to be talking, or least chatting in Skype. People get antsy when they don't hear from you often enough.
As for

You'll hear a few stories about people that left/were banished and are still on good terms, but, there are at least a few that are kos... ;)
All in all, definitely join for a good time in the game, if you want to have fun, and if you're interested in a village that will keep you occupied during your free time.

Bump.

This is a great village for people just starting out or for a group of friends who want to play together. It's already setup for the basic needs, and you have nearly everything you could ever need there.

As a prior and recent member of the village I can say I left alive, and I can confirm any rumors of no one leaving alive or killing people who leave is false. Also for anyone just joining that village I will make deals with Kit to help give you all supplies for whatever you may need. Any friends or villagers of Kit are friends of mine, and when my shop opens 25% discount to all. ^_^

I highly recommend joining Kitamie
