New player looking for village

Hello! I began playing this game a couple days ago. I realized that playing alone gets kind of boring, and I wanted to get to know some people who can show me how to do things and help me understand this game's mechanics.

In exchange for this assistance, I am willing to do any type of unskilled work that needs to be done around the village. I do not have any notable skills yet, but hopefully I can gain some by being part of a village.

I am American and I only speak English. I live in the EST time zone (UTC-5). My experience with this game is minimal, but I understand most of the basic concepts.
