Wait, so can you now use "State Funeral" if you have no body at all. Not the body itself, not the skull I mean

Yes, that's the entire purpose of it. It just replaces proper burial.

Ok maybe iam blind or i did something wrong or didnt something at all...
But somehow i cant seem to find the "lament the departed" thing anywhere.
I build the shrine did a few of the ancestral quests and all have the option to pray for their strenght but thats it.

It only shows up if you both 1) have ancestors and 2) haven't already reached the maximum inheritance.

Uhm i burried my dead body but without head so i shouldnt have reached the max inheritance.
But my body was burried a few days before the update. so dunno if its beceause of that.
(so yeah the lack of an ancestor shouldnt be the problem on that one and as i was missing my head i shouldnt have reached the max inheritance)

An idea to consider: Tedium, a Feature.

It seems pretty meh at early progression.

Given that it would probably be easy to mass-produce at decent qualities once you find good Q quartz, however, it may actually become decently useful, since it only requires two oak logs and two quartz. Neat.

EDIT:

It also looks okay on walls, IMO.
