At least them chantrelles, yellowfeet, morels (fresh and boiled) and button/cremini. Of course, all of them fungi would be cool, but still.

Also: pickled turnips, pickled pears, pickled apples, pickled peas.

And pickled mussels maybe

Pickled fish, would be nice to see more of it pulled up into the end game.

As I said earlier - larp shit, I only expect it to give some normal stats in food recipes.
Also they allows to apply spices twice, so some OP recipes can be found.
Anyway, anything that could come good from it, devs will fix anyway, and I doubt it is worth to make that much jars.

Well, there is a chance devs make it so food degrade come winter(longer) and we can prepare pickles and salted fish for it. Maybe some cold storage with ice for other veggies.

Food and tool decay would be a bad thing and it would suck a lot of motivation from me much earlier on in the world and late world it would make me much less likely to log back on and 'get back on the horse' as I usually do because all of my mats would be spoiled.

Yes, unfortunately. More food variety is the last thing we need :|

pickle jar could be a fruit sink to create desserts

cauldron could be vegetable/meat sink to create stew/soup consumed in bowls

I was just thinking about one thing that could be made with pickling. While typically it requires salt more than vinegar, corned beef is essentially a pickled meat.

Its nice to see dev's really care about maintaining general consistency where it matters and fix little mistakes in a timely matter.

What ? ... O wait, yea. ... Apparently they don't (well at least one of the two). ... My bad.

Every profession has some masters(Sensei), although most never make it out of being a plain professional.
