Even if IP banned, they'll return via VPN. You can't really stop them. The only solution I could see is real life data identification, but that's certainly not what the devs will want to go through, as manually reviewing thousands of people and interviewing them will be extremely time consuming.

Also most of us would refuse to participate. I've given a fake face scan to Meta for my quest 3 already and anything that asks is getting fake info. If something goes so far as to want me to tits and timestamp my ID on webcam then whatever it is isn't worth my time.

Same old bullshit. 2 creative guys made a game that was a great concept. The concept was that it was a complex base building game with permadeath. The systems were so complex that the time spent in the game solving these systems would deter griefing because it was so hard to advance. People would build communities and make markets and really cool villages that were beyond belief. We will open source our UI because the community will self regulate and understand that this is a great game and they want to grow it.

To be honest Russians try to take over every mmo that has a hint of being hardcore, they become the "Boogeymen" but eventually become the "neutral good" faction.
The USA Americans find the game and they make villages, make friends and try to make markets, alliances and in general are naive.
The Asian factions make massive villages that have markets with expensive shit that you cannot understand.

Now I am not saying Amuricans cant be total dicks at times. What I am saying is that in general it is not on purpose.
Russians (in my experience) are total dicks when a new game comes out, They get targeted and then they calm down and can be a force for good. One thing Russians never do is cheat.

Now there are many factions in this game. I was just naming some fun ones. If you want me to get to the point then I will.

If you bot this game without making all your shortcuts and macros public, then you are an enemy of the game and should leave.

For all you pvp studs that "just want good fights" there is more than one precedent.

When Everquest opened its hardest core server "Ralos Zek" it was hardcore pvp, but the big guilds had custom UI's. After the first guilds got banned it seemed like it was going to be a massive crisis. The players and dev team agreed that custom uis were absolutely fine as long as they were made public. This actually made the game more popular, EVEN PLAYING FIELD.

What we have here is a couple of guys that keep ignoring their core audience. Two dudes that are afraid of losing the loud loser that sits at the bar all day complaining about anyone that walks in looking different, even though he hasnt bought a drink in years. That douche has one goal, to trick you into supporting his fantasy life. He will have no problem destroying your dream as an independant game dev to maintain his/her status as an influence on you. an actual creator
