By this same argument bears add nothing, nor do trolls, &c&c.

Bats add nice curiosity, meat and another source of bone + skin. So they aren't completely useless.
I guess all recent changes tell us "deal with farming and building your base first before going into caves"

Also, seriously, learn to play. Your fundamental problem here is that you aren't manning up and handling what is frankly only a mild problem. My character can beat a bat, and work his way into a cave, and I'm not trying.

If you are so bothered by a small flying rat then you have no future here, because I certainly hope that the ride will get wilder still.

makes caves feel less "safe," new creature and new craftables/food from the creature, they are easy to avoid now, but makes it a bit trickier to just meander through a cave looking for cave bulbs/glimmermoss/salagooms etc...also this is a game about player progression and development atleast somewhat....you want everything in the first couple of weeks? on your own? without a group? the player progression etc is alot longer than that...you can circumvent the bats easily and get the ore you need and there are plenty of caves to explore up till you find a bat in your way...sounds more like qq's for easy mode...everything they are doing so far is spot on, im sure there are and will be balancing issues etc to what they put in...but its all fun...and the risk is worth the reward...but just my 2 cents

You may use that if you wish, yes. We are not, however, selling mudslinging tickets. If you are rude and boring I will tell you so. I'd love to have you onboard, but take a chill pill.

Do with all of that what you wish. Bats are awesome.

Nice, way to go Jorb. So what UA is needed for bats anyway?

I think 15 is enough. From what I saw they have attack skills for yellow, green (used most often) and blue colors.

Am I the only person who hasn't had an issue with the bats. Seriously, just don't go near them if you can't fight them. Have only been knocked out twice by them, the first i had no idea what it was on the minimap and the second was cause i got cocky.
