I think it's an interesting system and I'll enjoy exploring it more thoroughly after you remove it and implement it next world.

Just give me my olds stuff back. This new system is stupid. I can now take the lowest quality bear cape and make it better then anyone elses. By simply getting the right tooth to add to it. So the Quality system that is in place is now shattered.

What if: If you hold a completed equipment, and right click another completed equipment of the same kind, you get the option to recycle the items. The items are consumed, and replaced with a new item of that same type, of their averages in quality, with one available slot. Also: For each item slotted into either of the items recycled, your roll to reslot to the new item. If reslotting fails, you lose the slot item, *but* if reslotting succeeds, you add the item to the new, clean item, in addition to its one available slot.

I like the thrust of trying to make more items valuable, but I feel this could have been done better by adding bonuses to noob gear.
I like the change to max bonus being equal to your stats despite abusing it silly.

I don't think the chance system is good.
I don't necessarily think that items need to be generic.
I really don't like the tedium added to making gear.

Belts and gloves should be slotted perhaps, but number of slots should depend on quality not some random chance.

Prior to this, if I wanted to make a good bearcape, I got a highq tooth and a highq bearhide, got enough attributes and voila! Good bearcape. Now I have to spend a long time retrying and retrying with q60 bearcapes and highq bearteeth, if I understand the system correctly. Not a fan.

You really should not have brought this system in with such limited stuff, this is like your first version of artifacts and it was ssoooo lack luster. You obviously saw what the finally stage of slotting should be with bonuses to certain things. tbh this is a half assed attempt, i used to be a tailor of Salem making gear all the time and it was fun and people loved doing it, even the pvpers i played with that are here now used to run around farming artifacts and growing cotton to make gear. You really should've added other systems at the same time like how farming stat makes farming yield more or use less staminia the more you gain or instead of + str it gave +% yield of ore or smelting etc. All thats happened now is we all lose stats and have to waste time and materials replicating them which is not a fun mechanic.
