Unfortunately, yes. These resets don't happen very often, but they are always necessary when they are done. This is one of the downsides of playing in an unfinished (alpha or beta, not "released") game.

It is better to increase the red hand punishment, otherwise you can only leave group of robbers and some group veterans, newbies are constantly being ransacked and can't play. only in the late period of the world when most people abandon this world, newbies joint that time can have chance to play.

Please increase the difficulty of the game's natural world itself. Don't let people have to devote themselves to endless and naive boring fights.

The number of people who quit the game because they're being """harassed""' by vets is probably under 10. All of the major players become very inactive after only like, six months. Get a grip.

This is as much wrong as right. Newbies might be harrased by opposing kindgoms while kingdom they are in might be willing to help. Everyone have chance to play, it sucks to get smacked but it sucks even more to give up because of one or two accidents.

But to start all over again, time after time, is not fun.
