Maybe I'm too used to professional treatment from staff, what I can't find here.

Why not instead of having a subscription mode in the game, what about selling Game time (actual Game Hours) they could be set out in increments.

50 hours, 75 hours, 100 hours, 200 hours, 300 hours.

Maybe 50 hours will cost $5, 75 hours $7, 100 hours $10, 200 hours $15 and 300 $17.

If a person plays for 6 hours a day. They'll still get their times worth I believe. 50 hours of 6 hours a day would get you 8 days worth, some of us can't spend 6 hours a day playing so it'll work out worth the price. 300 hours of 6 hours a day would grant you 50 days of access for 17 dollars.

Even if I can't currently pay for it, $10 a month is not a problem at all for those of us with actual jobs (or nice parents with jobs if you do your chores, kiddo) as long as the game will have much better support and more consistent updates (1-2 a month maybe? I don't know.).
Right now I'm going to hold off paying because a) I don't have the funds right now and b) I'm also going to wait until the server is more stable.

But Jorb and Loftar both deserve your money for this game. And hey, if you don't want to pay, don't. Just try to gank someone stupid with a token in his inventory.
Oh, a signature.

I'm Dutch and I can spare it, not that I'm gonna. But others can't. This guy might not be 16. Who knows.

I chose to quote this exact post because I really didn't want to look around whole thread for your posts that could've been more proper to quote.
The point is, I understand that you want to gather more feedback and then think what should be changed. That's perfectly fine. But, your reaction must NOT be no reaction at all. It doesn't help anyone to criticize p2p, probably the worst option of gaining money for your hard work. Right now you are cutting off community that was with you for years. Is that really a good idea? IMHO, no. Far better (not best, just better) way would be creating monthly pool of money that must be filled. Similar to donations, but more enforced. Like, you create a fixed goal of money. Just for example, let's say 1500$. The rules are: If the price is not gathered in a month, we move to p2p. Cosmetic items bought from store contribute to this pool too.

Jorb, please, you must think about alternative ways to monetize, or revise the current prices, don't lose your fanbase just because of rushed (I hope) decision.

P.S. I understand the standpoint "But 10 bucks for a game is cheap as hell, for fucks sake m8." The thing is, there wouldn't really much piracy at all, if people would be able to pay? That said, I do think about buying a sub, but I want more than <100 players at any time.
P.S.S. Fucked up, double post instead of editing.

You get at least around 6 months of "subscription" for 15$, if you are a working person. More if you buy larger amounts of game time. If you are a no-life gamer you obviously don't have money to spend on a subscription for a game.

I didn't understand it at first myself. I think it's because the game time is sold in "months", not "hours".
