first and foremost. Thank you for the game and for the time you spent getting it to this point. I may not agree on your past practices per say but congratz.

been reading up an the current drama on HnH

so far I only have one question.

If I subscribe, and the server goes down, what plans do you have in store to compensate me?

maybe I don't understand the subscription model but if it says 1 month of unlimited play, is the server crashes, that's not unlimited play? or is the game times thus set to 744 hours of game time(24 hrs a day * 31 days)

I will say that you guys should be compensated. all of us dream to have a job that we love and actually look forward to go to. but you will also have to attest that in the past with the exploits, botts, server killing hearthling hickups, and overall nastiness that a payment model wouldn't had been a good idea in the past. now with the current world, do you feel you have adequately solved the "before" problems?

I think they've already said a billion times the timer does not tick when the servers are down.

I'm kind of curious how many people have actually bought anything from the store yet.

I'm completely new to the game and to be honest don't mind paying for it. Nothing in life of any worth ever comes for free. I actually quite like the 'multiple' pay options, I'm going to use up my trial time and then decide which model suits me best.

Only real mistake I think the dev's made was in not announcing the pay model in advance. Would at least have headed off most of the storm before release day.

they said several times a long time ago that it would be monetized. it isn't their fault people didn't bother doing their research.

Maybe a news section on the front page for people who don't live on the forum.
