heh I love reading how archery abusers are mad now, because of the changes - they won't be getting easy 1 shot machine gun noscope kills anymore. And yeah, make animals to run slower when they get injured by a arrow.
There was a wise soviet conscript that was surrounded by the enemy on the battle of Stalingrad. A mortar shot teared his pants apart causing a big hole in his pants right on his right butt cheek. He felt a glorious cold ass breeze of wind on his butt cheek, like it would be sent by stalin himself, he said - hide your butts

hehehhehehehehehe yo jorb u should lower cd on take aim in test server combat it requires so much ip to do shit but takes 10hours to get ip its real annoying

Some #realbutthurt in here. Like the changes, will be harder to hunt. But Im okay with that too, people killing bears with ease on world day 1 is straight up silly, although I guess AI is more to blame for that.

I think a lot of people forget that game design is an iterative process, nothing is going to be perfect the first time around, and changes can be expected to happen. People need to chill down :geek: , and just provide useful, and constructive feedback onto what they believe is wrong, where it can be improved, and so forth. No need to start acting like Jorb / Loftar waged a personal war against you.

It won't be harder (and harder doesn't always mean more interesting) - it will be pointless to hunt with bow. Melee "hunting" will be much more efficient for getting meat. And that's why Im not happy with the update.
And again, if you don't like "people killing bears with ease on world day 1" you may consider about buffing bear defence, not nerfing bows 'cause "people don't killing foxes on world day 300 is straight up silly" too.
For me, hunting trips was one of the main reasons to log into the game after two month. And now I don't think I will till next world.

hey Jorb did you miss my THOUGHTFUL post about parry shield up sting all being uesless in the new combat????? aren't you listening to the thoughtful posts???
on archery:
the main problem was little penalty for altering the aim direction. like you could change it 180 degrees and only lose about 10% of the meter, and you could also shoot within a 30-degree angle without having to re-aim and almost no penalty, that's why aiming by portrait was a thing. if you could only aim in a straight line archery wouldn't be so OP even with faster aiming.
