I've been traveling for roughly the entire time the server has been up and I've not found a single strand of string. I've found dandilions but no string.

Only spawns in forests. The minimap textures seems to have changed.

Btw. I love the new world. 30 seconds after spawning i finally met another player. I didn't think that would ever happen.

It's going to benefit people with absurdly large fields. I liked how the previous system didn't incentivize huge farms for improving crop quality.

What is the current texture? I can't find taproot or plant fiber.

Welcome to a new world. In about 6-8 hours, you'll be dead when you run into that "naked player."
I think they went back to the old spawning mechanic. I didn't see this many people at the start of w9. I think I like the more spread out one better.
