Considering I'm already a transplant and my mother is too cheap to fly out here to harass me in person..... I don't think so.

I dunno. Do you have some kind of local proxy? Modified your hosts.txt file? Broken ISP DNS resolver? Flush Windows DNS cache?

Or try with direct connection in Java Control Panel (javacpl.exe) -> General Tab / Network settings

I just reinstalled Java though I already had the latest version. I cleared Java cache. I flushed DNS. I don't have any proxy. I dont think ive modified any txt files.

When I download the default client launcher it just says

I'm no expert computer person. All I know is I cant connect since server switch :?
