Having, apparently, come in to world 12 late, I've found there to be ample opportunity to get high quality crops. One may be able to loot abandoned bases or simply be given hq crops (I was, perhaps, given over 500q turnips). 'Passing around' someone's possibly hard-earned high quality crops may be a poor thing to do. That may be their hard-earned advantage.
