Merry Christmes Devs! I didn't expect so much his close to the holidays!

Moose!!!

I have to say, however, that I do not like the reusable curios. Yes it cuts down on some micromanagement, so many of my logins are primarily to load up curios. However this exacerbates problems the game already has:

1) even LESS reason to be logged in, for an even LESS active player population, for even LESS chance of socialization and trade.
2.) One of the primary resource sumps gone, for even LESS reason to engage in industry, and even LESS reasons to trade.

I think this one thing is a backwards step. Honestly It was always weird that my character never got tired of studying another of the same item over and over. Now he is studying the same item over and over!

Meh I find the curio change fine. It's still far more efficient to just switch em out and use a new one most of the time unless the curio has stupidly high vitality.

Same with Bolete

Jorb said that some curio doesn't have wear at all. But I guess it should be reconsidered to do not make Substance absolutely useless for these curiosities

Will you really be as vigilant with your logins if the consequence of missing your timing is a loss 10% LP from the next round of studying the same thing vice earning 0% LP on an empty study box. Granted, most probably consider that a good thing.

This game needs ways to encourage you to be online. That's the whole point of an MO game. On the micromanagement front of the things that require it I never thought of curio refreshing to be that onerous.

Assumedly the whole idea of the update was to make autocurio less appealing and reduce the hassle of having to constantly switch curios.

The end result is the opposite. People who don't autocurio are punished even more harshly, as they end up draining their XP with curios that give absolute thrash LP. You HAVE to log on to remove your curios, or you end up with negative XP.

It just baffles my mind, it does. If you scale the LP, then scale the XP cost as well ffs.

Also having one stat effect the actual LP (i.e. the most useful thing) sucks balls. We have no way to influence forage q and the location where forageables spawn was already up to luck.
