This armor change is great, complete iron ore depletion of world 10 just sped up 100%

how to fix b12: give it and it alone durability

All weapons need durability, too, IMO, clear down to the stone axe.

And if the demand on the steel industry is going to increase, could we get some less timer intensive steel production?

It seems to play alot like the previous system, except with the animals 5x stronger.

The armor damage is not really fun, but, ok, can just make more armor.

I was looking forward to a targeting fix. It would be nice to not spend time every slime fight cycling through the targets trying to find one I can hit while I can't move.

Hopefully this comment doesn't get too overshadowed by combat discussion. However, I wanted to give some feedback on the armor changes. Specifically, I don't think the significant increase to armor damage should be implemented without at least a way to repair. It seems like now we're on the other extreme side of the spectrum. It renders leather and ranger's boots somewhat useless as it wouldn't be worth sinking valuable Exp or garment needles to get good gildings on something that will be gone after a week's worth of combat sessions (maybe quicker for pvp). Additionally, I think this change hurts newer players as they will be the most affected by the high quality material upkeep. It seems like it discourages combat and game exploration for them rather than incentivizing it.
