Current phpbb is 3.3.14 forum has 3.0.13. Quick check says its from 2015 - severely outdated.

In addition to outdated admin panel it might be a huge security gap

I am very surprised you didn't shit out a script that does that within the first 30 minutes of it feeling necessary

that'd mean I actually have to look into endpoints and shit, way more work than i'm prepared to do. I did actually find a way to select multiple topics within one forum to just delete thankfully.

You guys have been manually doing this? wtf

I don't, the flow is ban user, then go to user profile go through each post and hit delete.
Or in the case they spammed a bunch in one sub-forum, ban them, go to that sub-forums moderation panel and select multiple then hit delete.

there is no "delete everything from this user button" atleast for moderators from what I can see.

wonder how likely jorbtar would agree to a forum move to something a bit more modern

If they just upgrade phpbb to latest version there's high chance the same warm, fuzzy look and feel can be retained while admin panel would be much better. Can't say I've seen it all, but things like Disqus, Reddit are outright disgusting. So I'd be cautious to use something modern.

Mods either need to be more active and less shitty ( sure glad the word retarded ain't allowed anymore the quality of conversation sure has gone up), or you need a better system to handle the bot spam. Its actually kinda pathetic nothing has been done.

Upgrading the forum should have been something they considered prior to the steam release anyways. If they couldn't be bothered do it for a release that is supposed to bring in more players/customers it's unlikely they will bother at all.

Why did you guys delete this thread? It has been up for like 3 weeks with no problem before it was deleted, and I was kindof proud of it
