I know GDPR is not something devs will be ever bothered about, it's clear forum and game servers needs to collect some data like session keys and IP's just to function properly, but I'm not sure the data should be so vaguely accessed by moderators just to make a point in an argument.
For instance, my personal data(IP) was accessed in this case to compare my IP to other Temu alt accounts, I wasn't informed about that, and I'm not sure it's a justified purpose accessing it if it was only used by Pills to brag that he knows who does that.

The IP of every user is visible to every moderator/administrator, there isn't even anything special they need to do to "access" that information. If I remember correctly it is there for a moderator when viewing a user's profile and possibly even on the posts themselves as well. I did the exact same thing when it was the Odditown crew doing that kind of stuff (probably still is them tbh) like Aleck, Ziggy, I forget who else may have been involved at the time I can't remember if that was prior to or during the Ysh/Burinn posts.

In any case I've actually brought this topic up before, mentioning that anyone who is selected to be a moderator on this forum has access to such information which is why I suggested they should hire someone outside of the scope of the game and forum to manage moderation that are less likely to be in a conflict of interest.

Like hiring out of town cops to police districts they don't reside in. There are few if any historical examples of this ending poorly. I'm sure it's the right path forward for this game. Being told to shut up by some blue haired reddit dyke who can't pay their own rent while trying to sell life coaching sessions is exactly what this community needs.

Thank god your name isn't green.

isn't there a "report" button or have i been hallucinating using it this entire time? Why does the entire forum need to be read?

Seems unrealistic to get a free janny that doesn't play the game.

Kinda surprised the forum is setup to give naked IPs instead of a hash, though. Kinda makes me suspicious of some of the disconnects I had when Nonek was a moderator.

The report button doesn't do anything, and you have to skim a post to know if it's worth anything. The good posts(tm) are usually buried in like 20 bad posts. The skimming time and mental effort.

No they just need clear rules and someone without any investment in the game to enforce them. For example I might say something like, that's a really stupid response you fucking retard. If the forum had clear rules about such language I might get punished for that.

Before you reply again with another stupid comment, let me just ask, what exactly do you guys want then? Here you are complaining about moderation, I offer a reasonable suggestion and some guy goes "no I don't want a blue haired reddit dyke" as if that's what I even said at all. None of you know what you want, you just want to complain. Stfu retards.

Xir, why are you sperging out at a 20 minute old account with Temu in the name as if they're sharing their earnest opinions
