Heyo, it’s the real temu chariot here. Pretty sure I only made the one post (or maybe two) before you banned me. And nothing since, until exactly right now. Maybe your IP tracker is faulty. 2007 phbb, I understand.

The first post was a response to your Watermill thread. I could see getting offended since there was a derisive element towards you, but I do consider it a valid critique of your critique (to the tune of “this: bad UX, unexplained shit, The Joy of Discovery is an intentional aspect of Hafen”) and I don’t see why a flat ban was warranted.

My second post, also to C&I (can’t post a link but it’s in Hel, “devs take hiatus in summer too”), was a fresh thread critiquing J+L’s long hiatuses. Also valid for a forum about critiquing the game, but again, I could see where the offense arose, considering my somewhat tongue-in-cheek thread bumped your Very Serious and Important one out of the top spot, where the devs would surely have read it.

Then I was banned. Not warned, not curfewed or temp-muted, a flat-out permaban.

I suppose you’re extra mad now that someone’s been doing “temupills” and other shenanigans. But I don’t see why I’ve been banned just because I inconvenienced you personally. If points can’t be made here in an sardonic/jokey manner, surely that isn’t consistent with the devs’ own actions and common amusement with at least some “trollier” posters (see snail). While this is the first alt I’ve made since you perma’d me and my temu brethren, I did find some of the recent “temu” posts funny, so maybe Rule 4 “Unfunny trolling” is subjective. Food for thought.

Btw thanks @everyone who’s expressed their support here. Alts are a critical part of the Haven community.
