how do you devs feel about a reset? like months away?
i feel the world is becoming stale now without need to trade or proper flow of things and talk of major factions having max stats is a little deterring
what do you think needs to be done before the reset? boating be fixed? combat/siege fix? or curio and food so people don't go stupid with character gain?

people are at the cap, time to reset!

- scrubs

cap wasn't the only reason >>

btw does the food change make it important now for lower quality in essence and higher substance to reset the satiations?

It's not even close to the time for a reset yet... World is not even half as old as W8 was... and we endured weeks with barely 100 people online before that was shut down.... We're getting peaks of 500-600 here still... A lot of people still working on their biggest projects and such... I really see no reason for a reset now

In fact, for all those that managed to lose your character and are feeling kinda discouraged... I'd recommend coming back because with all your villages' infrastructure and resources you'll certainly get to cap again far sooner than any reset :D

W12 Occasional member of Lake Town

W9 The Revenant of Wulf's Retreat
W8 Lawspeaker of New Thotoshire
W7 Lawspeaker of Esteldín

ok so all drinks restore stamina at the same rate now, modified by quality, RIP utility of tea

also i have 28% dairy satiation from drinking 3L of milk

So how is this supposed to work? You will eventually get satiation on all 3 kinds of drinks and there is no way to remove those now.

If you want to fix combat discoveries. make it so you only need to discover something once. so if you discovered cleave, you can put as many copies of cleave into your deck as you want. Then also make it so that once you know cleave, you can no longer discover it anymore from animals, so that when u get a discovery, you know its something new.

Suggestion:
For deck construction. maybe make it so you have like 5 stacks of cards on each pile so 5x5. and you can pick what goes into those stacks. so for example. I might want to stack 3 take aims and 2 thinks in the same pile for a 5 card stack, then I might wanna stack like 4 stings and 1 cleave in a different one.

then u could make certain moves "rare" in that you can only have 1 copy of that card in your whole deck. people would want to have those rare moves since they are superior to normal ones, and that would introduce more randomness into combat especially if you made those rare ones always situational.

if people didn't want random they could simply put 5 punches in a stack and then they would always get punch.

I don't even know if that would be good or not, its just something I thought of.

This, I really hate getting those extra quick dodges and sidesteps.

Hope no reset for some time! I'd hate to finally finish a base and restart all over AGAIN!

yes but I was under the impression that changed along with water and tea gives no LP buff either which it also used to do, also drinking from better containers would give more stamina per sip but I haven't noticed that working either.

i'm talking about prior to this update. there's some post where i posted the exact data. there was no LP buff from tea in world 8 or 9.

Yeah sorry I meant prior to world 8 it still gave the LP buff. I recall last world using tea to mine and drinking from the cup because it gave the most stamina per sip versus a flask for example which gave less but I thought the same applied to water too where as this world I thought it had been changed so all drinks give the same amount of stamina regardless of quality but consumed less energy per sip based on quality.

I know tea is supposed to give more, I just thought it didn't since the beginning of this world.

And its just that everyone feasted as much as they could already. Big factions feasted real nice, maxed out their stats, its good to go jorb you can nerf it now.

I agree and disagree. I don't mind the nerf, but I don't think the nerf should have happened until the next world reset as now it's gimped a decent chunk of people.
