it is confirmed that walruses are faster than 3rd speed ?

in my opinion walruses on land should be slower than 3rd speed, and in water they should be the same speed as a rowboat or have a limited range to chase you.

having killing machines laying on every beach just cripples noobs, big factions don't give a fuck about animals as seen by the dead mammoth on day 2 (killing mammoths on day two thats just wrong...)
https://strawpoll.com/xh2d3zr2 if you give a fuck about mining vote on this. Make mining great again! Bring back old supports.

On land they should be crawl speed, on water slightly slower than rowboat so they're still a danger.
Total misplay.

rather than nerfing the walrus, there should probably be some kind of a mechanic that alerts a player whether an animal is aggressive or not

Then again, there's Quell the Beast.

It should be cheaper but even as it is it already offers some insurance.

Assume anything bigger than a rabbit is aggressive? Safer for anyone playing, at least. You can then learn the exceptions rather than assuming that it's not aggressive and dying (or at least getting KO'd multiple times) learning the hard way.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
