People are being dramatic about the roll back, but I have done a lot of work as well. Obviously this is a massive hiccup, but when it comes down to it, its the only legitimate option. Give us some sub time or something and call it even.

A rollback of three days is bitter medicine, but it's better than the balance of the world being messed up for months to come. One question I have though--would a rollback also come with a replenishment of the game time used during the days that would be expunged?

1. Dat sweet ++ore QL for everyone, as in the original patch tonight; big speed-up to overall progression rate for this world, but that's fine, the game is plenty slow anyway

2. World 9

3. Keep characters but erase the world 8-)

2x mining speed plus some insane ore will mean anyone can mine anything after the next couple days

Nuke ore but please don't rollback.

Just make q100 ore not that great and keep initial formula so it doesn't fuck world progression.

Add deeper levels, implement OP-as-fuck trolls at those levels, and nerf the qualities or occurrence of high qualities in overworld animals.

Yeah, can't selectively nuke... but couldn't like... change all the ore in the world to the same q? Like 30 or something. People could not smelt yet, there's no OP bars. So only change ores, anything that was higher and mined before the patch would've been smelted already.

This, 3 days is too harsh of a rollback, especially in a game like haven
