Tbh i agree with all the people saying archery needs a nerf. Ive played an archer both worlds now and it was way too easy to 1 shot a high developed characters.
However i can agree with some people that you killed archery with this patch. Bringing an archer into an actual pvp fight now is suicide.

You again managed to remove one of the few diversities in this game in terms of pvp.
If you want to nerf something you should take a look at other games, there is no way to nerf every stat and feature on something and just give it a little bit more accuracy. Wich doesnt matter at all because it takes years to aim with 250+ mm and q120+ bow. You should buff the aim speed a little bit and give archers more range so they actually are ranged fighters and not half melees.
Damage wise you could just adjust for example. q150 bow should be able to 3-5 shot a maxed character. With150q arrows of course.

return aiming speed.
Leave as is damage
30% armor penetration would be ok considering that the small base
10% of the damage is applied to the wound. bleed. which causes 1% of their size in the second. Prior to the extraction of an arrow.

I would like to develop his idea.
the wound would have been useful in hunting and in PVP.
animals have no armor. 100 causing them damage with 20+ bow they will receive a wound in 1hp per second and you will walk for a minute deer.
Probably worth extracting debuff on the movement of 20% for the injured foot.
in PVP of the damage 300 = 30 + wound after armor. What does not kill you, but it makes one get out of the fight for a cure. and it gives you plenty of time to it.

What if you make "different types" of bow, to complement different playstyles w/o actually nerfing archery as it is (ex: making recurve and long bows, while recurve bows fill the accuracy meter faster, but are lacking in accuracy and damage and can be used while mounted, and longbows aiming slower, piercing armor, with huge penalty while mounted, but dealing significant damage.
And maybe just to make stuff more fair adding a combat card that just lowers the damage from bows (being passive)

I would love to have a fancy longbow. I would also like to have crossbows.

Really? It's at that point already? Because based on posts I've read it sounds like there's still a lot of work to do in terms of balancing. Honestly though I haven't even bothered to test it out yet because I'm still of the opinion the current card combat would have been just fine with some small tweaks and additions but whatever, I'll test it out if you decide to push it but not before then.

Frankly I could care less about this update, bagpipes are cool though.

I detect the sarcasm but I'm sure that's what they think, allow me to rephrase though for the sake of clarity. I enjoy conflict, it makes things interesting. I enjoyed conflict much more in world 3 than I do now for a variety of reasons which I've gone in to before so I won't at the moment.

However, enjoying the conflict itself doesn't mean I don't think the combat system and fighting in general isn't a total shit show because it is. My God don't ever get in to a big group battle if you have a crap computer as well because all those players on your screen will lag the living hell out of you. The combat is not fun, I don't think it's fun for anyone. It's the act itself that is actually enjoyable for most people, at least in my opinion.

There are plenty of other games out there that offer a much more interesting experience in terms of player combat.
