What the hell went wrong guys??? can we get a link or something.

That curio change made my life a whole lot easier, i diddnt have to go into my storehouse every half hour and i diddnt have to excavate an entire minimap of ore to feed my measly two characters...

reverting feels like a kick in the teeth.

loved that my silver roses were worth it considering the long time for maw respawning
loved that a higher q glimmer was appliable over time
and loved that i could set my box up for the xmas break knowing i dint have to write a loging put curio on bot program to take care of things while i go away for 5 days..

now what? sorry no?
give a kid some candy and take it away jeez.
Shanked..

i liked the new system, makes it so i can get similar exp to someone who afk's and macros. i think the mangement of curios is waaaaaay less under it, being able to use a glimmer multiple times etc. However the management of lore did go way up, people who dont know how the lore system works were probably in a bad position after the update. i had to show people in my camp how it works as they would frequently get extremly low on lore xp. on the flip side, people who understand the system have thousands of lore xp banked. i have like 18k or something, so this new curio system is perfect for people like me. but for someoen who only has 500 banked, they will blow through that in a day if they put on the wrong kinda curios (bat wings etc)

Why would you revert that? Yes, exp issue is there, but it still better when your curious tick at night than not... management at day is still the same as before. Just less tedious, since it gives you ability to allow to curious to tick some more before swapping.

And as person who don't feel comfortable to use autostudy - this is a blessing for me too. People still will park their characters and get tons of lp while "offline", when others will feel forced to use worse curious.

There are bugs and things to work on (like making lp gain to be not only dependent on essence), but I think it was a move to right direction for casual players. Now you take it away from them?

It doesn't really help with that. You still need to login each time when the curio drops below useful wear level which is like ~75% wear for most. Same morning-noon-evening schedule just with double the headache.
It's only somewhat viable if you happen to have limited amount of high quality curios but other than that it sucks.

This incremental learning is bad. Please revert.

The low life has lost its appeal
And I'm tired of walking these streets
To a room with its cupboards bare

Maybe, but we'd like to consider it a bit more at the very least.

Wear on curiosities is weird, but the concept of using Ess/Sub/Vit isn't.

Make one stat reduce XP cost, the next increase LP, and the other reduce mental weight.

Here's a good system: Essence reduces mental weight. At Q40, Essence reduces mental weight by half. At Q90, it reduces by 1/3. At Q160, reduces by 1/4. There's a catch to this later on, stay with me.

Substance decreases study time. At Q40, Substance increases study time by 50%, Q90 at 100%, and so on. It's half, but stay with me.

Vitality reduces XP the same way Essence reduces mental weight. So at Q40, a curio has half XP cost, at Q90 it has 1/3 XP cost, and so on..

Now here's the catch: the AVERAGE quality increases Mental Weight and LP yield. So "unbalanced" curiosities are going to be less useful than "balanced" ones.

Teach me your ways. I have under 2k and never get more. Do you actually have a list of all the events?

Come and tell me when it's time to

I am -so- disappointed to see that you have reverted the change to the curios. D: It had made things so much more easy! I do -a lot- around my village and I often times don't remember or have the time to hunt/find/create curios. This made it so that at didn't have to worry. It made Haven life more fun to focus on other tasks than grinding for curios. I'm so very disappointed that this wasn't at least given a couple days to see the real affects.

Well I'm sorry you feel that way but since the change my LP gain has gone way up and maybe that is because I wasn't running auto curio before but that is exactly the point is it not? And I don't know what you're using but I logged out for the night and came back on this morning to swap in some new curios only to find that all the ones I had on were still there and still perfectly viable to use. Like it was said already, the experience is the main issue here.

While admittedly my expectations for this update were low, we waited for it and got a random curio change that was not really requested in the first place and now they are going to revert it? What the fuck lol.

if u put on long lasting curios, u can probably go multiple days without taking a single curio off, and they still wont be over 30% wear.
