Guess what, we already have to buy some skills like that to have acces to some maneuvres.
Sorry, was in a rush posting that as I realized I had somewhere I had to be and should have left 5 minutes earlier. Point was forcing a character to purchase skills they have no need for. Sorry if I picked the wrong ones off the top of my head, but they were the most expensive ones I could think of quickly.
Oh, and yeah, I think it's asinine to have the rest of the combat skills require some sort of discovery while some are hidden behind what are effectively crafting skills.
