I mean risk is great and all but I don’t want to play a game that requires me to be actively playing for 7 hours straight in one sitting in the best scenario every two weeks. I work 50 hours a week and get call duty on weekends once a month. Realistically the only people that can do this are no lifers, botters, and the only one I’m ok with are groups who plan for it. But if I’m playing by my self I can’t protect my claim without using bots.

So you take the risk. In this world I sometimes didn't lock in like when I was on a vacation or something. In that time my base could have been raided too

I think you overestimate the simplicity of it by at least some amount. The defender controls the timing, and has time to build archery towers to counter rams. The defender has perfect information on when things could happen. It is not trivial to break in.

I haven't played much w11 but quality grind has always been the core mechanic of HnH , what keep people motivated / interested , what drives the economy.
Why is no one losing their mind over this ?
Is there a new mechanic introduced I am missing ?
