What happens if you split a block into branches with that axe; does it get 'made from Domestic Honey (427%)' and 'made from Laurel Leaves (427%)'? Because if it does, I imagine the chain could be something like spitroast something with spices (kebab meat?) -> collect bone ash -> bone clay -> bricks -> smelter -> slag -> stone axe with spice effect -> branches with spice effect -> spitroast with spice effect.

Oh, I didn't think about that. I guess that might be problematic. Unfortunate.

A slap on the wrist as usual. Where is banning all the offending accounts. Let them at least rebuy their subscriptions and tokens. Where is tracking industry items made by those characters? The realms will be rebuilt in a couple of days with the cairn stones still up. I am really curious if you did track who ate what or just deleted characters that had too much stats because if it's the later even bugabusers are lazy to go quest and wait out satiations. Meh

Also to all the let's wait to see what this is about let's not jump to conclusions don't ask for nukes before we get more information. What do you say now?

I'm not sure banning very active players who spend money on the game is a good idea..

So all realm buffs were removed from AD/HH/Vegetards etc., why?

Well, I've managed to replicate the "exploit" to some extent, but then I got bored (and, frankly, ran out of resources, also I need to get to the hospital early to get my stitches removed, sooo...)
If anyone cares enough to check the possibilities, here's how it's done:

1. Craft a kebab, using spices. Or any bread/pie/pastry allowing to use spices. "Pitbaked goods" work too, although they take more time.

2. Burn down whatever you've crafted. Repeat 'til you get a decent amount of Spiced-up Ashes.

3. Craft a gildable item that uses Ashes in the recipe. I personally went with Ashen Robes, I guess Hirdsman cape would work too (and prolly be a better choice, see below). Altough you can make Spiced-up Black pigment, the sketch doesn't retain any properties (and here was I, hoping to get meself a shield made of 100% chicken!).

4. Now you're a proud owner of Spiced-up gildable item. Gild it with a bear tooth, lynx or wolf claw.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for more Spiced-up items gilded with bones. When you feel lucky - recycle them. An Ashen robe with a Bear claw has a very low chance of recycling, hence - hirdsman cape would be better.

6. If you've managed to "poke out" some bone gildings - those now have the same Spiced-up properties.

Burn them in a kiln, get bone ash, make bone clay. That's how far i've gotten.

Interesting fact: bone clay retain ONLY the Spice properties, no meat whatsoever (I was mildly disappointed because of the hilarious amount of various bollocks i've included in the whole "exploiting" process).

I've managed to get 3 pieces of clay with Dill (5%), (7%) and (10%). Unsurprisingly, when used with plain and simple ball clay, they've returned a non-spiced unfired treeplanters pots (I think the percentage got below the minimum threshold and the property got dropped, but I'm not going to waste all my Fine Clay stash trying to replicate that again). I wouldn't expect a Kiln or a Potter's Wheel to even have the capability of being "Spiced-Up", so, imo, best bet is to make Treeplanter's Pots and see where it gets you.

Oh, yes, and bone saw deserves a check-up as well, although I fail to see what can a spiced-up board be used for... Spiced-up bucket?

Have fun, and if you succeed - be public about it. Remember: loftar loves people who replicate bugs, allowing to fix them!

I'm sure everyone who's anyone would've already figured this stuff out by now. And loftar did say something about playerbase triggering bugs being beneficial overall due to him being able to fix said bugs. And then again, someone did mention PMing something about this bug earlier in this thread, so it's reported.

And regarding not making bugs public - reported bugs; bugs, undergoing the process of fixing; the very same bugs that gave a lot of players an unfair advantage, which some of them undoubtedly kept in one way or another - let me quote one controversial guy, who, in this case, makes a compelling point:
"With everyone super, noone will be!"

I have PM'd jorb about it and whether to make this a public attack on bug hunting or not, but the best I can do is assume that, after the last 24-48 hours of inquiries, it is at this point. The goal is for someone to figure it out and pass it on so it can actually be fixed, not keep it hidden so someone else can abuse it. If this is the key that fits the lock, then it'll be pointless because it'll be fixed in a few days (assuming an easy fix). If there is more to it, then more eyes and hands can figuring out which part is broken.

@Hasta: nice work, man. I'd have never thought of a couple of those steps. I guess one thought is to get a spitroast that is spiced up so that it compounds with a kebab or such and then repeat the cycle to spiral it up higher? Then again, the spit roast might be a red herring. Nobody actually posted what the food was that was such high stats.

Compost bin>mulch, assuming it will keep the spice attributes? What about the bone glue portion of this?

Share? My assumption was starting with the kebab to make ash myself. Maybe I'll think on it and come up with yet another.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

they probably understand that high stat characters can be found, but they need coal from lvl 8/9 to raise their anvil so they risk. anvil = money and with money you can rebuild all.
they will buy gold for tokens and rebuild kingdom and will troll with cairns while leave in another place.

I'm not using ash at all, but I don't think that sharing it publicly lends to anything, especially since I have already PMed it to the devs who will do with it what needs to be done.
