Yes but its also a very blunt and time consuming thing to make. Time which players do not have a lot of. So if someone could do silk they would be making a lot of profits in trade. Them big guys love them merch robes, for the int and space it adds. Plus ranger gear.

I could see someone mass-producing silk, there were a few pretty big set-ups in previous worlds, and not everyone wants to be bothered grinding up all the materials required for high-q silk.

In this world leaves are not unlimited, mass-producing will take a lot more investment in terms of tree planting, space, materials and time to gather leaves...

This is actually one of the current problems with silk, merch robes don't give int any longer and there's no reason to raise quality to a certain point where you get an inventory capacity increase since that doesn't happen either. A q10 merch robe is just as good as q100.

Not silk related but this also effects the value of traveler's sacks.

That needs gold, and only way I am likely to get gold is if one of my chickens lays a golden egg, as of this time. I doubt that will happen.

Gold is pretty easy to find this world, copper is way more rare and more valuable, I would say.

I do not have the game time to work silk, I cant run a small silk farm like I used to even for my use anymore. Plus I think my 3 tress all got stunted in growth and I have full skills lol.

No time to find gold Gordon, literally no time.
