You just reminded me why I loved Harvest Moon when I was a child. Jorb please, introduce this! If I recall correctly most crops were seasonal. And during winter nothing grew?

Will defending pults get +1 range? Otherwise they'll sit behind the wall, unable to shoot at the catapults breaking your wall from maximum range.

almost all were seasonal yeah. in some versions there were crops that spanned different seasons, but otherwise they died when out of season. winter didn't grow anything so you could go fishing and mining, though in later games you could grow some stuff like kale.

Might be a good idea if "defending catapult" can be defined in game terms. Will consider.
