This morning I have a realm directly to the east of me and another one directly to the north ... interesting ... :)

I can imagine two Realms declaring war on each other just because both want Amanda for themselves.

^^ :D - thanks but I have a feeling you are slightly overestimating my appeal ... :lol: ... it's probably more likely they are both just avoiding me ..... :)

They should each be using the name of the polity in question.


I think that if you have a village name two or three words long it gets cut off in the chat so instead of seeing "This Is My Village Name" chat you see "This Is My..." and then if you were to name your realm similarly to the village I can see how having two "This Is My..." chats could cause this confusion.

Perhaps additional Realm commands could include rapid completion of terraforming projects (cost a factor of total dirt moved, this could be fairly cheap), and conjuration of buildings and walls scaled in price according to their utility. A piddling Realm may only have the Authority to will a few chicken coops into existence on a given day, but an extremely powerful faction might be able to toss up emergency palisades on a whim, or raise a great and shining capitol, enclosed within brick walls, given a matter of days.

You might want to make it so that the King can restrict certain commands to himself and a few other trusted people, allowing one to flexibly customize positions of power within the Realm that have near-exclusive access to certain sets of abilities. Doing this would allow the King to freely create subsets of their government, from military structure to civil engineering. For bonus points, let them apply a title to the set of restricted commands, with additional optional titles being under the discretionary authority of those ones, allowing a General to recruit and promote or demote their officers, for example.

I vaguely remember the devs stating that their goal is that all humans in game should be backed by real human players, so that there is no confusion about this in case you approach a character.

Also I think that the characters in a realm need mechanics enabling them to deal with rulers that go (or start out) mad. It would be bad should they auto-fuel their tormentor which then directly converts their energy into walls (given the idea above) around them to restrict them...
