I don't pvp and probably never will.
but the essence of HnH has always been the sentiment of big insecurity and I hope always will.

If you're telling me that this kind of game is a niche genre then yes , big news

True

A minority of players abuses game mechanics to force their playstyle "by any means" and reactions in fixing to this are that way the majority has too pay for that ... it's the same as it was i.e. with Crossroads in Legacy that suddenly became very expensive ... because of abuse ...

Abusers should pay for abuses ... not me or you

that's my point

imagine community goverments reactions to illegal streetracing in cities and their affection on bystanders would be changing inner city streets into race tracks and forbid bicycles and pedestrians ...

What this does is prevent or hamper the spamming of alts to block paths and cause nuisance just to bait out murder scents to use as Nidbane fodder. It is an almost entirely uncontroversial change.

I agree with maze here, I still don't have rage

last world I only bought it after I had over 4 mil lp.

Mr Crabs! Nice :) /pras

Leantos now enforce a minimum building distance of one tile, fixing this. This is why we can't have nice things.

On the contrary. I always check murder scents just to see where murderer and his HF is located. Gives you a better idea of the situation around you on a big scale.

Shitload of posts, but still you guys are arguing about the symptoms, not about the cause. There is one single main problem - alts. As long as you can have more free characters there will be "broken" ways to play the game. Leantos, nidbanes, localised resources... Everything is abused by alts. If you would be forced to have limited amount of characters it would be much easier to solve. But that would require another payment model and stuff. I honestly don't see what's the point of discussing how much LP it should require to be able to leave proper murder scents when the problem is not the murderer but the possibility of the victim being an alt.
