If the goal is a soft paywall, I also support the selling of "Play Time"... with my understanding of that term being players would be able to pay $X for Y hours of game time.

You'd have to run the projections yourself to see what would make sense both financially and value-wise...

But I'd say $5 for around 100 hours would be in the ballpark?

Hey Jorb & Lofter. I received those extra hours and the hat, but one thing still concerns me. Since on paypal it says that I have paid you guys, but on my bank account the amount hasn't been charged yet. Well since it should be minus £10 which is $15. And I know that I hadn't had any money in paypal anyway. In short I don't want to be ripping you guys of. So my question is did you guys got the money from me?

We have the money, yes. :)

It's at http://legacy.havenandhearth.com/java/haven.jnlp, but keep in mind that it has all the certificate problems that legacy Haven always had. I kind of expect everyone who plays it to be using a custom client anyway. :)

Normally, Paypal tries to adapt the language to your local one. Are you perhaps going through some kind of proxy or something that might be confusing it?

far as I know, am not using any proxy. My settings on the forum are utc -8 pacific standard time

I would love to continue playing, would hate to run out of time. because of a language barrier

Hmm, that seems annoying. I can't immediately find anything about what language Paypal chooses or how to select it, but for now it does, at least, seem that if you create a Paypal account before visiting the store, it will choose the right language.

I am so very happy you went with weekly regen on Monday. I think me, and perhaps some friends, will now be buying H&H.

I do like the idea another dude suggested of buying extra Play Time that lets you continue playing after you've expended your weekly stock (with your regenerating Play Time taking priority, and an alert when you're switching over) - it gives a certain flexibility that a subscription doesn't.

Also... PARTY ARROWS! YAY!
