with the other nerfs do you thinnk it'd be an issue?

even if you could point blank shoot every 10ish seconds and assuming the person stands still that whole time, and your in mele who do you think would win, with the reduced dmg and armor pen

I was doing 1000ish damage with my bow like 1 month ago, after this patch that would be 600ish damage in a single shoot - its still enough to hunt.

I believe we should keep the minimum range limitation, but get a few snares/traps intended solely for hunting. And back off a bit on the nerfs. But, i guess, the devs have already read this like, 20 times already in this thread. I think we should wait for the next update.

Btw, why cant you just do boat hunting? Its way more logical than shooting animal from 1 tile distance.

btw bro in order for a ua fighter to be useful he has to have mc as well, and for an archer to be useful he needs some ua its always been like this nothings changed theres noo fucking problem m8

god you viewpoint is so skewed and your unwilling to discuss an issue with this update, take a non q 140+ bow and try to shoot it to death, try a q 70 bow and try to shoot a bear or a mammoth, and i mean sit there with defenses up and shoot it after you hit it once, i can sit and tank it indefinitely(and easily kill it with a sword even at q way lower than the bow), but its not possible to shoot it to death, its an issue with the changes, excluding your ways to explain it away using exploits/glitches to prevent it, legitimate combat against animals using archery is not possible unless you have an insanely high q bow, otherwise you might as well just use mele/unarmed to kill it in the first place (which you can do from a mount). keep on trolling tho cuz you had to get your qqing nerf applied to archery cuz you got oneshot by an archer (which is lame)..and im not complaining about that or even most the nerfs, im trying to point out some of the nerfs put in place make archery near useless and your unwilling to step back from your nerd rage and acknowledge theres an issue here when you look at it broader than your narrow viewpoint on the game.

Maybe stop arguing with radicals then? A lot of people feel similar to your position and were vocal enough about that. Filling the thread with a pointless argument where "an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" won't do any good; most likely the other way around - it'll clutter the vision of those who will read this in a few hours (devs, for example) and make a wrong impression about input.

man ive stated i agree that the standing next 2 it and shooting not being a thing anymore is dumb and that aimspeed should be buffed and aiming on horses should maybe be a bit higher but i dont agree with any of this "us nabs are having a hard time killing hightier animals with lowtier shit its so fukn dumb. but rlly im not arguing that thye shudnt buff some of the shit they nerfed im just against nabs crying they cant 1shot shit anymore
