This is part of the nature of the game, though, and you can't cure or prevent it. You have to develop game mechanics to make developing more than one character undesirable. Still won't stop it, but you make those that want to have 10 accounts and 50 characters running jump through hoops to do so. Hell, even full subscription games have a lot of second and third accounts with max number of character "just because I can."

Recycling scam alts in certain MMORPGs is a real thing. Get what you need to on them to run your scam, and then delete the character when its usefulness has run its course.

Great update! But would love to still be able to inspect the Q of wild animals after death. Fair enough we can't while alive but it's very useful once they're dead.

it's not like the devs didnt tried a bunch of things throughout 10 worlds... alts exist because permadeath exist... decisions decisions

In Legacy Barbarism vs Civ was a reason for having a need for Alts ... (and having loads of tedious chores - claiming sometimes) ...

What the actual fuck jorb.

Think about noobs and hermits. People can just run around slaughtering them with ABSOLUTELY NO consequences. If something encourages noob killing. Its this.
Alts need to be dealt with some way, but this is absolutely not the correct one.

Issue is that devs are bombarded with filthy pvprs from forum. And the game just gets more noob-unfriendly. Im pretty sure that devs will delete criminal debuff next :lol:
