Gnomes stealing your stuff, goblins trying to strategically surround you, ancient stone golems that you can wake up, kobolds as race that you can interact with in other way than killing? But like you I do wonder where these updates are going. but it's nice to bring life to the underworld.

half an hour trip on lvl 5 cave systems gave me nothing. also checked for 2 or 3 support areas if they are attracted to mining operations. none found.
