Lies! We all know the world sits on a giant turtle. And turtles are known to be not very fast, so it will takes hours for him/her/it to move. You could have told us the truth, loftar, instead of this network fairy tales...

Folled by DST!

DST is an evil construct we need to abolish.

Oceans should be bigger in w12. 2 minimaps of deep water between continents is just funny.

Just as a report, the copy is going now. Current ETA is 3 hours 24 minutes, but that will probably change as it progresses.

Also as a note on W12, this operation is actually particularly safe. I mean, it's not like copying the data over destroys it, so in the absolutely worst case, we'll just continue running on the same server.

I think before making oceans larger some issues shall be looked up, and mostly - about the current credo system.
Credos like Nomad and Herder were developed for a single-continent world and now include getting on a different continent. I'd like to see how you move your domestic cow across the sea with current mechanics.

Maybe we also need first couple new credos: Sailor and Captain.
Sailor might allow you to repair a boat or knarr while being a passenger of it, could reduce it's "weight" while jumping through vortexes and reduce damage in deep ocean. It can also add speed of single-crewed ships like dugouts, rafts, coracles, and maybe even rowboats.

Captain could be all about driving Knarrs. Giving them speed, resilence, maybe couple other useful perks.

As far as I understand, the current world is more of a "test" of how oceans will work.
Besides, there probably should be added more content about the deep ocean itself before making it just larger?

Sail there, build a HS, sail back, pick up the cow, HS there, wait for a friend to pick you up for a return journey.

"Ez"...
