Only noticed a spike right after the server went live but other than that It's much smoother than it was.

The lag persist, its not player count related.

yeah still saw a spike. Its not super annoying like it used to be though so win in my book.

Hmm, spikes still seem to be happening, but the disks are behaving differently from before. Will have to investigate further.

Actually, it seems the new kernel is just reporting disk activity differently in /sys/block/<device>/stat. Which is kind of annoying, at it seems to be a bit of a downgrade.

just revert back to the old kernal God Loftar, a server restart is a small price to pay for having the tools necessary to fix this lagstravaganza

From what I can tell, it's exactly the same as prior to the switch.
