No, bows are OP and need to be nerfed. Its ridiculous that they do as much damage as they do.

That's pretty much what equally vulnerable means. Melee chars aren't the safest route to survival anymore. Everyone can kill everyone practically regardless of how much effort you've put in your char.

Thats still not the way it should be. Melee characters need UA and MC. Archers can one- at most twoshot anyone as long as you put a crappy bow in their hands, even bronze armor on.

According to who? The map shouldn't be so small either but the devs want it to be that way so what can we do. To be honest, I think the chaos of these new changes will be interesting to watch even if it means I'll die twice as much. It does sound more fair than the previous system.

Well then why don't you make an archer? I've read lots of times here that hermits should suffer because they choose not to focus on a pvp char, but it's the same thing when melee fighters say they don't want to make a ranged char.

Something wrong with roads. When I use road - picture not change after I teleported and cursor changing to Inspect tool.
I'm using default client.
Forgot to add that I don't hold shift. But preview does not work for me. With pressed shift outcome is the same.

And second thing is with caves. Screen becomes black at some point. It just occurs randomly.

Fighters take some effort to make. Archers take none.
You don't even need to make a "ranged" character, you just need to get a fresh alt with rage and give him a bow. Thats literally it. NoEffort-characters should never be able to easily kill a well developed character.
Melee characters need to grind up combat moves ontop of that, too.

base damage of a q10 bow : 100
base damage of a q10 bone arrow : 80

base perception of an alt : 10

ranged damage reduced by aim %

if you're a 10 agi character, then you're
about as no effort as it gets... and you
will still probably survive a hit or two

You should tell your friends to invest in
stats, because a new spawn archer can't
touch me.

Have you ever used a bow?

I have, and damage reduction doesn't matter much when you can just empty a quiver full of arrows at short range. Only a few of those arrows need to hit to knock you down.
And who the fuck uses q10 bows and arrows
