Alright, one question for now - does the subscription i currently have carry over into the new world? I'm subbed for the next 6 months, would be very sad to lose it.

Yes it carries. The sub is for the game not the world

Since you want to actually make money and every decent suggestions ingame comes back with but then you can just make a throaway alt and ruin it all how about you monetize per character made? Each character you make costs a few dollars. Characters that haven't payed are marked ingame can be killed without leaving scents, the buildings they produce have an increased decay rate and a 30% quality penalty, items they produce has a 30% quality penalty. I think this is a better solution than making the life of non payers miserable with a tinier inventory and at the same time allowing alts and all they entail to go rampant.

P.S. I have no hope of seeing this happen but I had to give it a shot.

This doesnt solve the alt problem, it seems to penalize everyone with absolutely no gain, 30% of 999 is still greater than most players

why just not make f2p having 30% hp, 30% items you can craft and 30% screensize. if thats the case just make the game pay2play and stop the fuckery.
https://strawpoll.com/xh2d3zr2 if you give a fuck about mining vote on this. Make mining great again! Bring back old supports.

The alt problem is solved if you have to pay a small amount per account, assuming accounts are limited to one character each.

making the game paytoplay

the payment model isnt that bad for the game, theres no need for suggestions that do nothing but cause people to roll their eyes. Thats why paying gives you a bonus to character development and a bonus to convenience. The goal is not to Cripple free to play, it is to apply a bonus for subscribing

If HnH were as bad as you say, you would make a stone axe and get a message saying "You must subscribe to progress further". The current payment system really isn't that bad. At least everything is accessible, it's just a little easier if you pay.

Did you even read my post? Where exactly do I mention their own stats?
And penalize everyone? Who is this everyone? And no gain? Every alt will get the game money. That is a gain. Non payable alts can be killed when they are used to body block and shit like that without fear of exploitation. It won't remove alts but it will make their malicious use at least give something back to the game.
