the new world will come when jorb/loftar feels like it and you cannot influence it :)
There was a wise soviet conscript that was surrounded by the enemy on the battle of Stalingrad. A mortar shot teared his pants apart causing a big hole in his pants right on his right butt cheek. He felt a glorious cold ass breeze of wind on his butt cheek, like it would be sent by stalin himself, he said - hide your butts

I disagree. You actually can. The more you whine about it, the longer it takes for a new reset! ¦]

What for? Maintaining 2 servers and 2 worlds with just 2 people that also have their normal work life besides HnH ? I guess you have no clue what efforts it cost to do this ...

Btw. before the forum was overhauled for hafen there was a rule not to ask for wipes or world resets ...

Invite enough people so we have a number of 5000 players currently playing and we can continue to talk about it.

Until then: Because it is more fun.

Edit: I really miss that rule. And even without it it's still shitposting most of the time.

New players dont have change to survive in this situaiton. I think if they keep fresh servers. More players will play.

Why do you think "new" would prevent any not so "fresh" player from joining that servers? :o

With that long time at HnH you should know better my friend ;) :)

New players have even less chance to survive on a new world than in one that is six months old. You have 10x as many players cramming to find the best locations possible and no-lifing the game for 3 days straight to get murder and the first brick wall.

Right now a new player only has to compete with a couple hundred regulars, many of whom just sit in their base or are layers underground mining.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Hey, stop asking for a map reset, for reals. I enjoy spending many hours in the boat scavenging through abandoned settlements
I just love to stalk the Jorbtar

avros008 made me think up an idea - 3 servers running for 6 months each, A, B and C; A starts, say, in September and players may join it up until November, after that the server closes for new players; B starts in November and people may join in for next two months etc etc. Smaller maps, possibly lower caps.

Too bad this system drastically differt from what devs have in mind for this game (a persistent, self-sustaining and evolving world).
