That kind of pisses me off though because I'm not a casual. Even having 500+ stats is better than most players but that isn't my point the game isn't all about stats for some people and I put just as many hours in to this game if not more and yet somehow I'm considered a casual because I didn't get 1500 stats? Really? What the fuck is the point in putting ANY effort in to this game when you have people that can put in no effort because of the clients they use for example and do twice as good as you in half the time.

great point, but the system can still be abused, here's a rough sketch where Orange is personal claim and Red is a village claim. Just imagine if you build personal claims first and then build village idols later.

first case is if the distance between villages will not be changed. second case is if minimal distance between 2 village idols will drastically change. you can still build personal claims first and then make it so that there are no gaps between pclaim and vclaims, and still abuse the system, not as much as villages within villages, but still it would be pretty lame.


edit: unless you cant build/extend villages this close to another established claims to leave no gap in between, if so disregard what i just said...


With overlap I also ment touching. Sorry, should have put that also in the text.

I was talking casual, as in the stat grind part, not a player in general man, relax. I know I went hardcore into production and just massing up my stats for like a month and purely only doing that, mixed with good table and salt made the stats increase superfast.

Add desert biome please.
Also make it so everyone spawns into the world in the same location. Kinda like Salem. And they have to branch out from there. That way people have a chance to make friends or seee noobs get slaughtered.

That's not what I mean I'm still talking about botting/scripts and custom clients playing a huge role in that but they go beyond the botting aspect too because you can look at a video like in this thread and see that clearly there's no annoying UI in the middle of their screen like there is for almost every other player that doesn't have access to these types of things. Devs never implement stuff like that in to default or they take ages doing so.

You seem to have missed the part of it being applied to the one initiating combat. So yes, if the 'top fighters' can't control their auto-aggro macros... Also it could be applied to murder, which is the actual problem as it's currently basically the same cost as knocking someone out.

Throwing ideas here, but I get it: Everything that hinders slaughtering of newbies is bad...

Nah, your ideas are often separated from the reality. You do not really think about how it can be abused, before suggesting.
