You eliminate access to any characters on that account. That said, deleting characters would be as effective. However, we don't have a delete function for characters as is, would they go through that trouble to punish an offender? It'd probably be easier for them to reset characters to all base stats/0 LP.

IP - nah, IPs can be changed

E-mail? Are you serious? Think about it. Just like banning accounts on a free game is pointless because it's free, banning e-mails from a free game is also pointless because... ding ding ding, e-mails are free!!

Yeah, it could be useful for temporary blocks, true. I meant as a way to block the person into the game, though.

Now, seriously, there's no way to delete a character? Lol. I didn't know that :S sometimes I feel like Haven could really use some backend infrastructure/more complex dev tools/some kind of activity log/surveillance, things like this... I know they firmly believe they should interfere as little as possible with the world, but proper game fixing/bug hunting and divine justice can't rely on reports and player CSI forever :P

It's what I've gathered from loftar's comments on it when the subject is brought up by players. I imagine it can be done, but is a headache due to character inheritance, etc.

I was thinking more this, yeah. Deleting would be just as effective, but I suggested banning because it also would take away their precious forum post counts.

Posts that get sent to hell should be deducted from postcount ...

Posts getting deleted in general should be doing this. But forum score minigame is probably not with prioritized.
