Before lag W6 had much, much more than 100. Definitely more than currently is.

Noone pvp's anyway, so putting up a stat cap is only not working, but also causing some people to quit.
There was a wise soviet conscript that was surrounded by the enemy on the battle of Stalingrad. A mortar shot teared his pants apart causing a big hole in his pants right on his right butt cheek. He felt a glorious cold ass breeze of wind on his butt cheek, like it would be sent by stalin himself, he said - hide your butts

Do you have any proff for that assumption?
The number of players and the degression over time don't look much different to the worlds without stat caps.

But there are different people. Without stat cap only stat-grinders played. Now they already left, but hermits still play (because in legacy hermits usually wiped in first months by palibashers)
